The single player mode is especially characteristic of campaigns (although sometimes they also have the option of cooperating with other players), however, many games also offer the possibility of one-man fun on individual levels (e.g. a single mission, scenario or race against AI).

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (2011) is one of the increasingly rare games offering only single player mode.
